Wet granulator is one of the key equipment of carbon black production line. With the rapid development of the rubber industry, the rubber industry has higher and higher requirements for the quality of carbon black, which also puts forward more and more strict requirements for carbon black granulation. Carbon black users generally require that the particle size of carbon black is uniform, the particle size distribution range is 0.5-1.5mm, the surface is round and smooth, and the content of fine powder is low.


Principle: Granulation is a physical process. Mechanical energy can form carbon black and granulation water into particles. The granulation process is as follows: firstly, the small droplets of granulation water are taken as the core to quickly form particle core (i.e. particle nucleation), and then the particles are densified (including rolling the particles into small round balls) and polished. In the production process, under the action of the rotor, the carbon black can automatically repair the gap error existing in the inner cylinder wall of the granulator to form a more reasonable and uniform granulation gap.


Features and advantages: On the basis of digesting and absorbing foreign advanced technology, the granulator has been improved to form a unique and excellent new equipment. The cylindricity of the inner cylinder of the granulation shell shall be within ± 1mm, and the inner wall shall have appropriate roughness and good adhesion, so as to ensure the stability of the repair layer of the inner cylinder wall and the rationality of the granulation gap. The rotor conveying section of the granulator adopts screw conveying to ensure that when the powdered carbon black is transported to the granulation section, the powdered carbon black can rotate and advance evenly close to the inner cylinder wall, so that the granulation water can be evenly sprayed on the carbon black layer; The granulation section and densification polishing section adopt the stirring tooth structure, and the stirring tooth arrangement structure should be reasonable. The particles can roll and rotate forward on the inner cylinder wall to increase the granulation and densification polishing function, and the particles can further absorb the remaining powdered carbon black and reduce the content of powdered carbon black. The particle surface is round and smooth, hard outside and soft inside, and the surface hardness is reasonable. Positioning shall be added to the granulator to ensure uniform clearance between the rotor stirring teeth and the inner wall of the cylinder during use and maintenance. The structure of granulator rotor is very important: 1) it can provide reasonable granulation mechanical energy, reduce reactive work and reduce wear; 2) Under the action of centrifugal force and thrust, carbon black is evenly and densely distributed on the cylinder wall, which not only completes the process of particle coring, particle densification and particle polishing, but also prevents the contact between granulation water and rotor and reduces corrosion. Therefore, it has the following advantages: A. uniform particles and less powdery and massive carbon black; b. Particles are not easy to break during drying; c. Long service life of rotor; d. Reduce energy consumption, uniform power and small vibration force.
